Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, Suhana Khan, and other celebrities demonstrate solidarity in the Kolkata doctor case and call for justice for the victim

The country is reeling from the shocking murder and rape of a medical student at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, which has left many feeling very saddened and incensed.

Several Bollywood celebs have expressed their sorrow and called for urgent action against such horrible actions on social media in response to the tragedy.

Hrithik Roshan fervently emphasized the necessity for progress toward a safer society on his X account. While he agreed that it could take millennia to bring about universal safety, he emphasized that in order to bring about quick justice, severe penalties that would serve as a deterrence to future offenders are necessary. Indeed, we must develop into a society in which everyone feels equally secure. However, that will need decades. With any lucky, it will come about via empowering and sensitizing our boys and girls. The following generation will be superior. Hrithik said, expressing the outcry of many people against the persistent abuse of women.

He went on, "We'll make it there. In due course. So what happens in the interim? Justice at this point would be to firmly put an end to such crimes. And the only way to accomplish that is to punish them so severely that it would make such offenders afraid to death. It is what we require. Maybe? Along with all the doctors who were attacked yesterday night, I support the victim's family in their quest for justice for their daughter."
